One night in the spring of 1992, Neale Donald Walsch awoke hours before dawn feeling restless, hopeless, and alone. He wandered through his house, sank into a chair, and noticed a pad of paper and a pencil on the lower shelf of his coffee table. He decided to “vent” in the form of an emotion-packed letter to God.
Neale’s anger, confusion, and desperation poured out onto the paper, along with many questions. Why couldn’t he make his life work? Why couldn’t he find happiness in his relationships? And, his most impassioned question: What had he done to deserve a life of such continuous struggle?
To his surprise, when he finished the letter, he couldn’t put down the pen. His hand began moving, as if by an invisible force, as the pen continued to write on the paper. Neale had no idea what was being written “through” the pen until after it was inscribed on the page. The writing turned out to be the answers to his questions, but it came from a source other than his own mind, a source that identified itself as God. The “dictation” went on for several months, addressing questions as Neale posed them.
Listen as Neale receives profound answers to questions that have perplexed mankind for millennia, such as:
• What does God want and expect from us?
• Why does God allow disasters to happen?
• Why is money such a challenge and burden?
• Is reincarnation real?
• Why do things like evil and illness exist?
• Is there life on other planets?
• Will utopia ever be found on Earth?
Did a dialogue between Neale Walsch and God really take place? You be the judge. Listen to Neale Walsch’s Conversations with God and see if it doesn't ring true for you. Chances are, you'll want to listen again and again and share what you hear with others.
At the end of the program, New Dimensions Radio co-founder and president Michael Toms interviews spiritual authors about the phenomenon of the Conversations, including Neale Donald Walsch, James Redfield, author of the Celestine Prophecy books, and Shakti Gawain, author of Creative Visualization and Living in the Light.
